Remodeled Kitchen is Spacious, Efficient

While the existing kitchen in this St. Paul home was large, it was inefficient, outdated, and in need of some revitalization. Now, the homeowners can sit and enjoy a cup of coffee and a good book in the new, cozy breakfast alcove. Cooking is easy with everything within reach. And there’s abundant storage in classic white cabinets.

Not Bigger, Just Better

St. Paul architect Jeremiah Battles’ design features endless countertops, loads of cabinet space, and a large center island complete with built-ins, a bar top, and a sink. The footprint of the remodeled kitchen is the same, but the efficient galley-style layout creates more room for storage and seating.

Modern Meets Traditional

Like many owners of vintage homes, our clients wanted to blend traditional and contemporary design elements. Casement windows with simulated divided lights brighten the room. Black granite countertops and oak floors add contrast. Sleek glass tile complements the flush inset cabinets and traditional white woodwork.
