Colleen Cowhy

With roots in construction that go back to childhood—watching the ins and outs of her dad’s company—Colleen has always been drawn to design and building. She designed and built her own home, then purchased a turn-of-the-century home that confirmed her love for historic houses. After earning a Construction Management degree and a Florida builder’s license, she launched and ran her own design-build firm in Florida.

Now at Ben Quie & Sons, Colleen has found a team that shares her passion for turn-of-the-century homes, thoughtful design, and quality craftsmanship. In her role in sales, she enjoys getting to know homeowners, understanding their needs and visions, and serving as the conduit between their goals and the finished project. For her, the most meaningful part of the process is seeing how remodeling transforms not only a home but the lives of the people who live there.

Outside of work, Colleen enjoys global adventures, creating art projects, and rolling up her sleeves on her own old home.
